This is Ducks Pass in the Mammoth Lakes area. We did not hike to it; I found it on Google images. I'm posting it because it shows why I think that the Eastern side is the most beautiful side of this mountain range. Ducks Pass is not a difficult hike. I did one similar to it a few years ago. Our destination then was Mosquito Lake. It was aptly named. I was eaten alive. Those little buggers can survive 11,000 feet better than I can.
