He died in 1982 so this photo was taken before that. He was a tough man to love, but I still did. Not around much when we kids needed him, but he is our father. As you can tell, I got his hair.

I miss my dad a whole lot - he was wonderful right up to the end. He stayed with us in Hospice care a stroke left him paralized after hip replacement surgery so it was his body that gave up on him not his mind. He died at 82.
