We saw several couples having wedding pictures taken when we got off the boat after our tour of the Venice of the Orient in Suzhou. The brides rent their dresses plus several other costumes in which to have their pictures taken. This is all done in advance of the actual wedding. It was pretty cold that day. When they were moving from pose to pose, you could see that most of the brides wore long underwear and warm shoes.
